Sublimator, Vacuum, Dailey, 40mL, Complete. A grease-free, two-piece sublimation apparatus consisting of an upper water cooled condenser and lower vessel to hold the material to be sublimed. The sublimate collects on the lower end of the condenser which has a flat bottom. Condenser is constructed using a grease-free, threaded valve. Connection of the condenser and lower vessel via an o-ring joint enables the two parts to be gently separated for maximum product recovery. Complete apparatus consists of the cold finger condenser, lower vessel, Viton o-ring and stainless steel pinchclamp. Cayman Chemical Antioxidant Assay Kit, 96 wells
Cayman’s Antioxidant Assay measures the total antioxidant capacity of plasma, serum, urine, saliva, or cell lysates. The assay relies on the ability of antioxidants in the sample to inhibit the oxidation of ABTS (2,2'-azino-di-[3-ethylbenzthiazoline sulphonate]) to ABTS•+ by metmyoglobin. The capacity of the antioxidants in the sample to prevent ABTS oxidation is compared with that of Trolox, a water-soluble tocopherol analogue, and is quantified as molar Trolox equivalents.
